Use Nutrition as your (not so) Secret Weapon to Lose Weight and Keep It Off.

Have you ever done one of those whirlwind exercise bootcamps, lost a few pounds, quit and then gained 20lbs right after?
Ok, it sounds drastic. But if you’ve ever been part of anything like that, then you know what the above feels like and even experienced something similar.

You were working out until you almost fainted (which btw is bad no matter what the girl on YouTube says), and you never got used to the ‘allowed’ foods on that list you paid $300 for.
AND the weight came back.
Or worse, you gained more weight. Yes, I know. That actually happens more often than you think.
Oh, and you were out like $2000 worth of trainer fees, home gym equipment (where you hang the gym bag you never use and your cute hats) and all those drink packets.

A rapid weight loss plan helps you lose weight rapidly. It doesn’t help you keep it off long term.

The Truth is bootcamps do work. And trainers help build your endurance, strength and confidence (if they’re doing their job right). I know. I have been helping people get fit and healthy for over 16 years as a Fitness Coach. Here’s the problem, an incredible exercise plan gets completely negated by bad food choices.
More truth. Diets and some Fad diets work… I’m talking about the diets developed by “doctors” and dietitians for celebrities or long standing complete plans. You know the ones that usually have their own, very expensive, pre-portioned meals, health bars, shakes, etc.
But, that’s the problem. They are designed for weight loss and to be followed to the letter; every calorie or point counted. Now, take note. I didn’t say they’re designed to be sustainable.
BUT! …My guess is that you’ve already tried lots of diets and it didn’t go so well. And you spent a lot of money and what do you have to show for it?

As I mentioned earlier, I’ve been helping people with this for a while now. Seventeen years to be exact. What I learned early on from working with my clients was that no matter how good my workout plans were, if they weren’t eating right at home, they never saw results.
So, I started to give them the tools they needed to eat right. What did I learn? That those tools had to be easy and simple to use or no one would stick to the plan.
And tons of energy during workouts! Now, no one’s perfect, but the guidelines were sensible, so it was easy to jump right back in, if and when they got off track.
Negative cycles were broken.
It’s a lesson I have never forgotten. It’s a perspective I hold dear to me in every product I develop now. In fact, every single one of my coaching programs incorporates nutrition.
